Ice
Whey Protein Powder - chocolate
Almond Milk
Peanut Butter - low cal low fat
Banana
and any fruits I have avaliable

Yeah, it does look nasty, but if you can get around the green of it, then you will like it. As far as the blender goes, I just have a mid range Kitchen Aid blender. The spinach really adds no flavor, just lots of nutrients. Just drink it with your eyes closed. Your body will thank you.

Green smoothies look gross and never appealed to me although intellectually I knew it was good for me. Calling a Shred smoothie just won me over. I never put in the ice cubes, just frozen fruit. And, I never add any sugar, fruit syrup, or honey. It always seems plenty sweet to me. Your little girl is just precious.

I add blueberries to cover the color. Mine is usually blueberries, strawberries, spinach, protein powder and almond milk. My 2 year old loves them, my 4 year old won't go near it.

Rebecca, i'm not sure what she has but i have a General Electric blender made for walmart that does a great job on smoothies. My mom bought it for a birthday gift when she saw my weak blender. I wanna say it was in the $50 price point. It has a basic on and off with a heavy metal blade. I've had it for about 4 years now and it rocks. No need for an expensive machine. I also put the spinach in first so it closer to the blade.

Shrek smoothies sound a lot more fun than just a plain "green" smoothie.

What kind of blender do you use? I've heard that unless you have one of those horribly expensive blenders that you end up with spinach chunks that aren't very appetizing.
