Head's Up

Just a quick reminder that tomorrow will be a big day for coupon inserts. It's been reported that there will be six inserts in the Sunday papers. You can check out the coupons at sundaycouponpreview.com to see what's coming out.

There are a ton of really good coupons in the paper tomorrow. I noticed quite a few food coupons, which is a nice change of pace. I love a good deal on beauty products, but I sure can't cook with them. I"m very happy to see the .55/1 Barilla whole grain pasta coupons. That is something I can work with! So make sure you pick up that paper. I think the ROI will be worth it this week!!

I am a big fan of the whole grain pasta as well. Hopefully that will equal free pasta with a good sale! I did find that Target carries a whole grain version in their brand, so I picked up a box + a jar of sauce for $1 (using the TQ). We have plenty of pasta for now but were down to our last jar of sauce!

So excited about the inserts for tomorrow! I'm getting back in the swing of things this New Year.. I've purged the binder and now I'm ready for a fresh start! It always hurts to pull out those expired coupons and missed savings but...I saved 80 bucks this morning price matching+coupons from just last week! Felt GOOD!

Wow. Did any papers really have that many inserts? We had 4 or 5 a few weeks ago, but only 2 today in my neck of the woods (central South Carolina). Bummer.

How is everyone handling the new barcodes? Which stores will or won't accept them? What do you do when they refuse to take them when they don't scan? Returned an entire order at Stop and Shop today when I was accused of coupon fraud.
